Joan and Sid were always so welcoming and hospitable to my friends and I. Late night cheese on toast for us after the pub was always great. Anecdotes from the cricket, discussing the Albion or life in general were always on the agenda. A silver surfer extraordinaire.
Thank you for your kindness over the 50 or so years that I knew you.
Farewell Joan, such a lovely lady.
